Juliet May 13, 2008

You’ve got a typo, babe.

RSK May 13, 2008

well done!

(bring back union thug #3!)

Geoff May 13, 2008

Hahaha, which one? There are so many.

P.S. For anyone and everyone reading this who finds typos – please tell us about them because we want to fix them all. But remember that we will not be fixing them and re-uploading the episodes as it takes 8 hours per episode to render and upload :( But the final copies and DVDs will be fixed :)

Really impressed with the acting and the camera work—and how well Matt and Helena-Grace capture the moment with their expressions. They really have an effective range and a lot of control.

Juliet May 13, 2008

williaN shakespeare to name one of many.

Cullen May 13, 2008

Yeah we caught that one just now. It’ll be fixed in all future episodes and on the dvd. Thank you for pointing it out! Amazing how something can be watched by half a hundred people in pre-production who ALL miss the same really obvious typo.

Any email you want to send us with other typos is appreciated! cullen@theskyisfree.com or geoff@theskyisfree.com

Wow. This is incredible. Very well done. I’m hooked. =)

RSK May 13, 2008

I can’t read a damn thing with that font you use anyway. It looks good, but leaves something to be desired for legibility…

steve pappin May 13, 2008

not sure if this is the place to say it, but the character drawings on the People page are amazing! who is the artist? i think they deserve some recognition on the website.

i like cartoon me…and cartoon rufus and snug…they’re adorable.

Matt Ticciati May 13, 2008

Helena, you are the best ever. And David, your music is amazing.

Geoff May 13, 2008

Re: Steve

It was Paul Morehead, he has done all our production art, including that logo at the top of the page and others, we’ll make sure people know.

Geoff, Everyone in Wormtooth Nation-

The series continues brilliantly with Episode 2.

Okay, I’m hooked. I want to buy the CD of the soundtrack (physical, not a download!), and I want to buy the DVD as soon as you have all the episodes available to piece together.

You’re doing on a shoestring what Hollywood by and large is unable to accomplish with virtually unlimited cash—creating a work of beauty, resonance, and meaning that transcends its genre and its characters while telling a darn good story in the meantime.

Warm Regards, Duncan H. Brown

Cullen May 13, 2008

Damn dude. Thanks!

Essi May 19, 2008

Wow, just wow! I’ve only watched two episodes so far, but I’m totally hooked already. This is infinitely better than the stuff that runs on TV.

I’ll definitely buy the DVD if you are releasing one. :)

everything’s great except for the acting.

Matt May 06, 2009

This is cool, I really like what you’re doing here. I wonder if it’s necessary for you to have the 40-second intro attached to every episode, however. You’re really going to be straining the limits of your audience’s attention span, especially if you’re trying to attract the same people that read webcomics.

having to watch those same 40 seconds every episode is gonna get tiresome quickly.

other than that?

Applause!

How do they keep the white pillow cases so white with all the coal grime on their faces? Just curious.
