Last night Cully, Donnie and I went to the IMPA awards ceremony, which was a cool experience, lots of really nice, down to eath, Iowa filmmakers.

The really cool part though, was that we took hom 6 awards!

The 3 Awards of Achievement (nominations) that we took were: Entertainment Long Form, Lighting Desing (Cully), and Editing (Cully)

and the 3 Awards of Excellence (1st Place) we took were: Screenplay – Produced, Directing – Long Form (me), and Original Music Score (David J Murphy).

So congrats everyone!

It’s been forever since Geoff or I have updated this blogy-thing, but finally we have a tidbit of news: looks like David Murphy is putting together a new release of the Wormtooth soundtrack. I’m not sure what exactly that entails, but I’m excited about it.

I’m also prepared to announce my next creative project, it will be called AFT3R. We’re still in the early stages of pre-production, but a hesitant timeline has production beginning late next summer. Many of the same people will be involved. You’ll have to hold on for more details ;D

Oh, and I’ve been asked to teach an introduction to video production at Maharishi University of Management. The course begins October 26th and goes for four weeks. It’ll be fun, but don’t expect it to be easy!
